What is Your Problem with Hell? Part 2

In my previous post, I discussed the fact that a growing number of people who refer to themselves as believers and followers of Christ are now starting to question and even deny that the topic of hell as described in the Bible simply cannot mean what it says. Somehow the translation is somehow “misinterpreted” or seen as nothing more than an antiquated “scare tactic”. I even watched one podcaster who declared that the subject of hell was a “tool of colonial oppression” used to keep oppressed minorities in line with the “white supremacists.” No, I am not kidding you. Objections to the reality of an eternal place of punishment are usually a combination of questions, “offense” and confrontations. It usually goes like this: People ask “How can a loving God possibly send someone to an eternal hell, to be tortured forever for a brief period of life on Earth? That’s not fair! My God would never do such a horrendous thing!” Allow me to answer that objection and direct you to a website that can provide you with solid, logical, and rational answers to your questions and objections. I can only post a limited number of words with this blog.

Go to http://www.gotquestions.org. It can help, comfort, and if need be, convict you and draw you to the only One who can save you from the sins that do and will send you to hell if you do not settle that issue NOW! I have put together a list of the most common questions concerning this serious topic.

Is hell real? Is hell eternal?

How is eternity in hell a fair punishment for sin?

Is hell eternal conscious torment?

How can a loving God send someone to hell?

Who will go to hell?

How can I NOT go to hell?

Look up these questions. Do your homework. Read or watch the videos to get the answers. Do not let this day go by without settling the issue of where you will be one minute after you die. No one will get away with it, and no one will get away from it.
