Don’t Let Other People Do Your Thinking for You!!

Now, that’s an attention getting title, isn’t it? (At least, I think so.) It happens to be true. Have you noticed that what you hear coming out of the mouths of most of the public sounds the same as the next person? America and the world are following a dangerous and unhealthy trend. There is a severe shortage of original and personal thinking. There is a fear of “stepping out of line” and going against “mob mentality”. While there is nothing wrong with trying to get along, there needs to be a point where we take a breath, look around, and ask why this has to be the “norm”. We are scared of being criticized, shunned, or made to feel foolish for expressing ourselves in a way that upsets the majority, especially when it comes to political and social issues. Am I right?

My name is Donald Whitchard. I’m a Christian minister and teacher (Hold it! Don’t shut this site off and go look for something else to read or watch!). I have been in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ as a pastor, evangelist, adjunct professor, history teacher, and hospital chaplain over a forty-year period and not all at once. I’ve witnessed everything from blessings to bloodshed, but I’ve also noticed an increasing number of so-called “Christians” who are both biblically ignorant and all too eager to please the opinions and expectations of a world that hates God in the first place (John 7:7, 15:18, 25, 19:6). In case you don’t know, those numbers are verses in the New Testament of the Bible. If I have to explain that to you, then I’ve proven my point (Isaiah 5:20-21; Proverbs 1:29, 19:2, 10:21; Hosea 4:6; Romans 12:1-2).

This site is dedicated to telling the truth about the condition of the world and the lack of critical, original, and courageous thinking. I want to introduce you to the One who is the Author of thought and reason (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-4; Colossians 1:16-18) and Who offers true and lasting peace to the soul and the promise of a new world free from the trouble and turmoil we are all experiencing (Isaiah 1:18, 64:6; John 14:27, 16:33; Romans 3:23, 6:23; Revelation 21:5). Do not be afraid or intimidated about the world’s sway of thinking and action. Start learning to think for yourself and not let others do the job.

If you want to know more about the “peace” I mentioned concerning God and you, then I invite and challenge you to go to: http://www.peacewithgod.net and start there. By the way, I’m in the process of publishing a book that might interest you concerning the future of the world according to (wait for it!) the Bible. It’s entitled, “The Scope of Biblical Prophecy” and will soon be available on Amazon, Shopify, and other venues, including an audio version. If that catches your attention, contact Rose Kim B. who handles all the details. Her Email is: rosekim.author@gmail.com. Yes, that was a lot to read, but I’m glad you’ve come this far. There will be more stories and articles to come.
